Traveling LTC hosts unstructured, informal conversations to share ideas and collaborate on common teaching challenges, as well as a chance to come together as a community and reconnect. This edition is about: CARE
Learning Objectives:
Representatives from Highline’s Concern, Assistance, Resources, Empowerment team (aka, CARE) will be available for consultation and support to faculty around helping students in crisis and how best to support them both in and out of the classroom. We will also discuss when it is essential to submit a CARE report and what happens after you hit submit. CARE reps will also disseminate other campus resources that can assist faculty in being ready to effectively respond when classroom behavior becomes a challenge.
