In this workshop, the LTC will provide an inclusive framework for practicing SERTOs: Supportive, Evidence-based, Reflective Teacher Observations. These are observation practices that create a robust discussion about classroom environment, student engagement, pedagogy, and next steps, with the goal of engaging both the instructor and observer in a conversation that is both validating and encouraging of growth and risk-taking. We will also cover best practices for using the class observation form provided in the tenure process.

About the LTC Winter Workshop Series:
LTC workshops take place every Wednesday from 2:00-3:30pm. The first 45 minutes of each workshop will be presentation style, and the rest of the workshop will be a hands-on working session with small group support.
