Description:
Continuous improvement is vital to program sustainability, and finding systematic ways to center student voice and anti-racism are essential to student success. The Program Improvement Process helps our departments become more sustainable and student-centered. In addition to learning more about continuous improvement, participants will also hear what other departments have done to promote positive changes in their areas through this process.
Learning Outcomes:
- Describe the goals of program improvement, as stated in the new MFR and faculty contract
- Identify the new process in the Program Improvement Toolkit and how to navigate the new Program Improvement Tableau dashboard
- Discuss ways the improvement process can be implemented in departments on a small scale to make big impacts
