3/15/23 Peralta Online Equity Conference – Registration Opens
We invite you to join us, the Peralta Community College District’s Online Equity Team, for our third Equity in Online Learning Conference that will take place virtually from April 26 to April 28, 2023. We welcome equity-minded students, educators, staff and leaders who represent colleges, universities, non-profit organizations and vendors from all around the world.
Like last year, our conference will include three types of activities to mirror the scaffolded learning process from Peralta’s Online Equity Training:
- Day 1 (Wed. April 26) – LEARN – Live PRESENTATION to share an equity initiative or strategy
- Day 2 (Wed. April 27) – ANALYZE – Live DISCUSSION about an equity topic
- Day 3 (Wed. April 28) – BUILD – Live WORKSHOP focused on increasing equity in our classes
Objectives:
- Improve the visibility of efforts to increase learning equity in higher education
- Bring together institutions that want to share and adopt equitable practices for all online students globally.
Modality:
