2/2/2023 Highline Faculty Showcase

We want to celebrate what teachers are doing!  At this event we will hear from recent professional leave faculty award winners:

• Lonnie Somer (Anthropology Faculty) – Sp22 sabbatical to explore and investigate survey, excavation and preservation techniques used at ancient cultural sites
• Samad Chakour (Business Faculty) – W22 Fulbright winner

Participants will have the opportunity to hear short presentations from recent professional leave awardees, followed by a question and answer session.

Objective

To make teaching more public: we want to give faculty opportunities to talk about, and for others to hear about, what faculty have learned that is making a difference in  their teaching practices.

Modality
