Description:

Come join the Assessment Committee at the 4th annual Opening Week Assessment Retreat! We will update you on what we accomplished last year and talk about our goals for the 22-23 academic year. After that, we will divide into two groups. New faculty will be introduced to assessment and the assessment tool. Veteran faculty will have a chance to discuss their assessments within their departments and leave the retreat with a completed Department Annual Review.

Learning Outcomes:

• All Faculty will get an overview of assessment highlights from 2021-22
• All Faculty will get an/update of all assessment components for 2022-2023
• New faculty will be able to define terms related to assessment and learn how to submit an assessment report via the Assessment Tool
• Faculty, at a department level, will complete the Department Annual Review (DAR) of assessment for the previous academic year
