6/9/23 Faculty Advisors-of-the-Year Awards

We cordially invite you to join us in celebrating and honoring our faculty advisors’ exceptional contributions and dedication.

This event will allow us to recognize the invaluable support and guidance our faculty advisors provide to our students. During the ceremony, we will announce the Faculty Advisors of the Year, acknowledging their outstanding efforts and impact on student development.

Additionally, we will have some speakers from the 4-phases of advising, as each phase plays a crucial role in our community.

Light refreshments will be served from 2:00 pm-2:30 pm, providing a wonderful opportunity for networking and sharing best practices among colleagues. The ceremony will begin at 2:30 pm

Students have been asked to nominate advisors based on excellence in guiding and mentoring, supporting development of career skills, promoting learning and growth, assistance in creating academic plans reflective of academic and career goals, and providing referrals to campus services when needed. Those faculty receiving the most student nominations will receive recognition at the ceremony.
