11/9/22 Applications open for STEAM Accessibility Learning Community

Applications will open for a learning community focusing on the particular requirements of STEAM classes in creating accessible documents. Equations, discipline-specific terms, and more!

Outcomes:

Participants will be able to: Prioritize document accessibility needs for a course Identify challenges to creating accessible documents in STEAM classes Determine whether a document meets federal accessibility requirements Request and test accessible documents from publishers, the library, and other commercial providers Use formatting and accessibility tools to make documents accessible, e.g. Ally, Word, PowerPoint, MathType/ChemType, etc. Request assistance with creating accessible documents
